The expert hands of Joid’art goldsmiths have transformed the sketches of the artists who collaborate with us into unique pieces. They have painstakingly traced the contours of each piece to create the new AW17 collections that are already available in our stores and on joidart.com.

The Garland collection has a dual personality. Simple and sophisticated. Smooth and bobbly. Elemental and complex. Effortless and eye-catching. In the Joid’art Lab they describe the collections as, ‘Pure form adorned with the synthesis of an ornament’.
Naguisa is the word that defines the line drawn by the waves of the sea as they lap the shore. It is also the name of a handmade shoe brand based in Barcelona which was developed in celebration of the espadrille with its jute sole – vegetable fibre traditionally used in ropes and sacks – aimed at women whose feet were yet to experience the natural comfort of this type of shoe. With its whole-hearted and absolute commitment to fashion, Naguisa takes espadrilles to another dimension.
In summer, happiness is contagious. The moments of sunlight are infectious. The days of freedom. The white houses. The shadows cast in the streets. The blue skies. The nights of dancing. The bare skin. The eternal siestas. The longing for the sea, salt and breeze. The scents of the Mediterranean. And the discounts on jewellery are also catching! Continue reading
Sculptor Sara Domènech developed the Plecs jewellery collection as if she were playing with small pieces of folded paper. Seeing the result, we can imagine her, scissors in hand, cutting circles of paper, folding them in half and assembling them in a completely spontaneously way to create small sculptures of sinuous lines. Maybe that was the way it happened. Or maybe not. It’s not really important…what matters are the pieces into which she poured her creativity.

Every day has its own special charm, you just have to know where to look for it. A nice message received mid-morning. A plant that finally blooms. The pleasure of having lunch with someone. A song almost forgotten. A leisurely walk. The breeze on your face. It’s about finding beauty in the little things. Something as simple as the new Toujours jewellery collection.
It happened. Nobody quite knows how, when or why, but one night the moon filled with light and shone so brightly that it is even said that the glow worms stopped flying to save themselves from being eclipsed. Ceramist Nuri Negre Herzing gazed at the sky calmly, from her retreat in the Valle del Llémena, and decided to convert the experience into a piece of jewellery. And that is how Keramik White was born.
Fortunately for all of us, one day Julia Breiter decided to make the move from Germany to Barcelona and open a second-hand clothing boutique in the Raval district, where she sold minimalist pieces from the 1990s. As time went on, she began customising some of the pieces she was selling, which became very popular among her clientele. One thing led to another and she threw herself into designing. And so the Über den Wolken (‘above the clouds’ in German) brand was born which we love for the simplicity and natural charm it exudes.
Coastal landscapes and the silhouettes of the mountains contemplated from the sea are the key reference point that designer Berta Riera has drawn upon in the Hills collection. With a firm and sculptural line, she invites us to enjoy the charisma of these pieces, which she calls hills on the horizon that overlap, creating almost geometrical illusions.
