Being a mum isn’t about calendars. A mum is a mum every hour of every day. But it’s almost that time of year when we celebrate it publicly and we pay tribute to the special women in our lives. The ones that love us, warts and all, that help us grow up, that spoil us and always understand. Joid’art is reopening the ‘Laboratory of love’, created with Lara Costafreda, so that you can find jewellery inspired by mother love, perfect to give on Mother’s Day or any day.

The Sita Murt and Joid’art universes are very similar. We share an understanding of femininity, and her style of a real, confident woman, with initiative, fit right in with ours. That’s probably why her clothes go so well with our jewellery. We found that when we were putting together the outfits below that combine our Embolic collection with her ‘Tender Trip SS16’ collection. Continue reading →

More than 100 years have gone by since then and Gaudí’s mosaics still have the power to amaze and inspire us. The new Eloise jewellery collection pays tribute to the great man.
Our creative director at Joid’art, Cristina Julià, turned up at the studio one day rocking a pair of Eva vs. María, for the rest of us, it was love at first sight. We decided right then and there to find out who was behind this shoe brand and that’s how we discovered Eva Bazán, a Cadiz-born designer based in Barcelona, who painstakingly and tirelessly works at creating her very individual shoe collections which we feel communicate on a level that is very in tune with our jewellery. The new Ilva collection, created by sculptor and jewellery designer Sara Domènech, is inspired by supernova star spirals, which she converts into unique pieces that are exploding with personality. The sculptural forms reflected in the collection’s rings, necklaces and earrings make them an essential addition to your spring styles.
In creating the new Swing collection, Anna Codina knew what she was looking for right from the start: wanting to play with oval and circular shapes and construct delicate pieces with a powerful personality. Looking at the results, she clearly achieved her goal while also creating something that works as the perfect addition to the new spring looks, a selection of which we have put together for you below.

Something about you inspires us to create the jewels of the new season.
