Terrazzo used to be a material used in construction in the 1970s. Now, however, artist and Joid’art creative director, Cristina Julià, has rescued it from oblivion. Having used it as a source of inspiration for a piece of work, she then went on to create the Terrazzo Project, a collection of jewellery that reflects the power of this graphic work and expresses it through simple contemporary forms.

A little while ago we did the photo session for the new AW13 campaign. The idea was to work in an indoor space that would convey both warmth and creativity. We found the ideal spot in an old apartment in Barcelona and moved everything over there for the shoot.
Sometimes we fancy giving an original, personalized gift but we don’t know exactly what to get. On other occasions we know exactly what we want but can’t find it.
