The Mediterranean forms part of our soul. Water, earth and olive trees. We carry its essence deep within. That of its nature and of those who have inhabited its shores since days of old. Its beaches and its forests. Its art and its gods. Its beauty and its jewellery. That’s the way designer Berta Riera feels. A feeling she has transposed into her new Athenea collection.

Pre-autumn garden. Endless trees. The light plays hide-and-seek with the leaves. Drops of colour dot the earth while the wind dances through the branches. The ground is covered in capricious organic shapes. Someone approaches slowly and, step by step, leans down to gather the seeds that have fallen from the trees. These are the new jewels in the Garden Seeds collection.
The September breeze brings us fresh ideas for outfits inspired by art and colour. Uniting two creations with the Joid’art spirit and a unique essence: scarves and jewellery. The scarves form part of the Garbí textile collection, the result of a joint creative venture with artist Pau Batlle. The jewellery hails from the Expressionista collection, created by the team at the Joid’art Lab.
New, waxing, full or waning. The moon is always there, even when it is out of sight. We can always feel it. Right now, for example. Its phases have a powerful influence over us and our life rhythms. They regulate us. They inspire us. They sustain us. We all have a connection to the moon. Cristina Julià appreciates that and pays homage to the moon with the new Luna jewellery collection.
Gaudí‘s art and Barcelona‘s charm inspire us to develop surprising collections of contemporary jewellery. Developed by artists who capture the creative force emanating from the city, their creations enable you to carry the essence of one of the most emblematic capitals of the Mediterranean with you forever.
I am air. Light and ethereal, the wind through which birds soar. At the same time, I am water. Free, fresh, energetic. And land. With roots that tie me to the olive groves and to my ancestors’ homes. But, above all, I am light. The dawn awakening in ochre. Organic shadows resting on my skin. A glass prism in its mineral form. The fragile reflection of a ceramic vase. I carry the Mediterranean in every drop of my being. And I like it.
For centuries, Mediterranean cultures have explored the craft of mosaics. Our Greek, Roman and Mesopotamian ancestors used them to decorate their walls, and the fascination towards creating art from these tiny pieces has prevailed until today, with magnificent examples from artists such as Gaudí, Franz Spohn, Pete Manson and Emma Karp. Today, jewellery designer Berta Riera exhibits her special tribute to this craft in the Moitie Aribau collection.
A full moon and a sky full of stars. Distant planetary orbits trace the outlines of spherical jewels. Tiny lights illuminate the earth. Planetary collections, such as Eclipse and Anais, dazzle in a dance of eternal shadows. A beauty that only shines more brightly as the night draws in.

There are secret gardens where life is slower, the air is fresher and the sky looks bluer. They are natural areas where the light gently caresses. And the flowers grow happy. And jewellery designers, like Sara Domènech, tend to their magnolias and create amazing collections of the same name.
